Overall, the highest literacy rate is in Central Asia for both male and female, whereas female literacy rate for women accounts for the lowest in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In Central Asia, literacy rate reached at its peak for both gender, at 100%.

While in euroupe, literacy rate experiences a slight decrease of 2%, for both male and female. Literacy rate for women started to decline from Latin America and continues till the end of the chart.
