Overall, only central Asia and central Eastern Europe had the proportion literacy equal both in two gender. While all most of male’s percentage in other countries were higher than that of female.
In 2011, the literacy rate in central Asia had the same percentage both in two gender, at around 100%, which became the highest proportion of this survey. the second was central Eastern Europe, standing at 95% and equal both in 2 gender. in sub-saharan africa, this rate was least, which had difference between both gender is up to 10%. this women’s percentage is lower than that highest and unequal around 40% and this trend in male is 30%. In the other regions, the percentages in eastern asia or pacific and Itin ameria or caribbean were 95% of man can write and read, while that rate of women just took up 90%. in Arab states or south and west asia the proportions between 2 gender had much more difference . the rate of man was around 90% , more than women to 10% in arab and in another region was 20%.
