It is true that most accidents are caused by human error, whereas driverless cars can reduce the risk of accidents caused by distraction or falling asleep, making the roads safer for both pedestrians and motorists. For example, it has been found that 71% of car accidents in the US are a result of driver’s mistake. Another advantage is that they are accessible to everyone. Individuals who are disabled or elders can utilize the driverless cars without any difficulties, making it possible for them to travel to any destination. Also, they do not require training or special experience, making them accessible to people of all ages.
