Dear Sir,

I am writing to request a week off from the regular office work in order to attend my cousin brother’s wedding back in India. Also, I want to seek permission if I can continue the pending work from home.

The wedding dates selected by the priest are from 23rd January’26 – 25th January’26. These appropriate dates are considered according to the suitability of my family. It will be a 3 days occupied with functions like Haldi ceremony, Henna ceremony, wedding dance eve and marriage followed by reception. As I have been overseas here in New York for nearly 4 years now, I am very excited to meet my family and friends at home.

Therefore, I urge you to grant me leave from 20th Jan’26 to 26th Jan’26. This long week off is due to family celebrations and meetover after a long period of time. Additionally, I also have to shop for the marriage attire. Plus, it will be a one and half day of flight. So I am requesting for a complete week off.

However, I guarantee you that the pending projects will be completed in the meantime. I will try to finish the presentation for the marketing of Meesho’s shirts. In addition to that, the final touch-ups that had to be given to Amazon’s project will also be done carefully.

I hope to return with a fresh productive stint to meet the company’s prospects. I would appreciate your prompt response.
