The table compares information about the number of international tourist arrivals in different countries in 2009 and 2010 , with their percentage changes.
Overall, all countries in question witnessed an increase of varying degrees in their tourist arrivals, with the exception of France that saw no change at all. Although, Hong Kong experienced decrease in the end of the period.
Turkey, China and especially Germany increased their tourist arrivals dramatically within one years. The former country stood out by charging the most tourist arrivals, at 33 million which rose to 45 by 2010, recording a change of 33%. However, it was Germany where the biggest change of 109% occured, with the international tourist arrivals hiking from 11 million in 2009 to 34 in 2010. Although, China stood at 22 million tourist arrivals in 2009, by 2010 the number of tourist arrivals went up 34 million with 55%.
The remaining countries, on the other hand, experienced sharply increase or decrease. Among those, America, Spain, UK,Italy experienced a sharp rise, with the number of tourists escalating from 66 million, 55, 55,44 and 67 million, 56,57,45 respectively. The percentage of this countries ranged from 1.5% to 2.3%. Conversly, the only country that saw no change is that France, in 2009 it is the most popular and in the end of the year it is recorded similar number of tourist arrivals with 76 million. On the other hand, Hong Kong experienced decrease at about 9 million in 2010, with the 11%.
