Hi, i’m your neighbor, Tugs who lives in the brick house. The reason that i am writing you this letter is because the tree in your gate is damaging my property.

The tree has grown sideways, which has damaged my fence. Also one of the branches is blocking my driveway and has made it difficult to enter my house without me scratching my car.

I have tried talking with you and I thought I made sure that you understood the nuisance you were making to me and my family. I guess I was wrong. When the time i gave you to solve this problem passed, I tried to take matters into my own hands, such as moving the branch back to your own gate. It didn’t work, since the branch was too big.

In conclusion, take down or move the tree or the tree branch which is blocking my driveway and fix or pay for the damages you have done to my fence. If you don’t fix it by the end of this week, I will be contacting the authorities of the safety department or the police.
