The line graph compares per capita CO2 emissions from fossil fuels and industry between two countries Spain and India between the years 1830 and 2020.
It is clear that during the early year, C02 production was very low and almost same for both countries. Spain showed the most fluctuations and stayed at the top of the chart throughout the whole periods while India also showed the increment but at much slower rate.
At early 1800s the carbon emission per head of both countries were almost zero. The small rise in carbon start after 1850 in spain contributing less than a ton while India showed no increment till 1900. At around 1940 both countries were almost at same place in carbon emission. After that, sudden rise was seen for spain reaching at the peak with the whooping above 8 ton emission at the year around 2020.
By contrast, India only contributed nearly under 2 ton. With the constant increase India reached at it’s peak at 2 ton in 2020. Meanwhile, spain saw the gradual fall to abaou 4.5 ton in the year 2020.
