The given maps illustrate how the school has changed over a 35-year period from 1985 to the present day.
Overall, the school has experienced significant development to accomodate a larger number of students. Most notably, several new facilities have been added, the classrom blocks have been expanded, and the population of the school has increased dramatically.
In 1985, the school had a simple relatively layout. There were two car parks, one larger one near the enterance and a smaller one next to the classroms. The library was located on western side of the school, beside the office. A two storey classrom block stood on the east side, while a large area in the south was occupied by large playing fields.
At present, the school site has become more complex and modern. The main car park has been redesigned into a curved shape, while the smaller car park has been removed to make space for new classrooms. The original classroom block has been expanded to three storeys, and additional classroom buildings have been constructed. Moreover, the former library area has been replaced by a learning resources centre and a computer room. New facilities such as a fitness centre and a swimming pool have also been added near the playing fields, which are now smaller than before
