Well, it has definitely changed in a way. I would say that back then, a community would be defined as a group of people who share the same characteristics, like religion or culture for example. However now, with the rise of social media, I would say that it’s more diverse. A community can consist of anyone from any background, just as long as they they share the same opinion or the same interests. Like for example, fandoms, they’re also considered a community.
