The bar graph compares data on the population of seven European countries namely Germany, France, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Poland and Portugal in 2013 and 2021, measured in millions.
Overall, it can be seen that Germany and France were the most populous countries in both years, while Croatia had the smallest population. On the whole, there are a slight increase population in three countries of seven,whereas other including, Italy, Poland and Portugal saw a small decrease.
Top of the list was Germany’s population rose from about 80,6 million in 2013 to 83,2 million in 2021. In second was France also increased from around 65,8 million to 67,7 million. Similarly, Spain’s population grew marginally from approximately 46,6 million to 47,4 million.
By contrast, Italy’s population declined marginally, falling from about 60,2 to 59,1 million. Poland and Portugal’s population decreased slightly from around 38 million to 37,7 million and 10,5 million to 10,3 million. In last place was Croatia reamined the least populated country, with its declining approximately 4,3 million to 4 million.
