The given pie chart illustrates the number of various kinds of books sold in 1970,1997 and in 2012 by a particular bookseller.

Overall, the majority of books sold were adult fiction followed by children fiction .The sale of travel books, biographies, and other genre books were comparetively low .

In the initial year, the books from unknown catergories got sold in highest numbers about 25% of the total books . On the other hand, the sales of the fictional books and biopic books was 20% which was similar .Travel books were the least amount of books that were sold about 15% only.

In the second year, fictional category of books were sold the most about 22% – 25%. Followed by other genres which is unclear in the given chart and the number was 20%. Both the travel books and biographies the sales were very much similar to one and other about 18% and 15% respectively.

In 2012, the number of sales in adult fiction books rose dramatically about 45% of total sales . Childern fiction books were next most sold books about 25%. Other category of books and travel guides has almost similar number sales about 12% and 10%, Finally biography books were the least sold books about 8% only.
