The bar chart compares information about the proportion of males and females in England who participated in different leisure activities in 2006.
It is clear that watching TV and spending family time were the most popular activity among men and women, while playing computer games was the least common activity.
Looking at the bar chart in more detail, the majority of both men and women spend their leisure by watching TV, at roughly 80% for women and approximately 82% for men. Nearly 80% of males and females preferred to spend some quality time with their family, although women were slightly above 78%, where men were around 76%. However, almost 70% of women inclined to do shopping, while around 69% of males were interested in using the internet.
On the other hand, the tiny proportion of both genders played video games, at nearly 5% for women and 10% for men. In contrast, doing exercise and reading were slightly common among men and women, reaching above 65%.
