The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in a science park between 2008 and the present day.
Overall, the science park has undergone significant modernisation and expansion. While some original facilities such as the business units and offices remain, several new developments have been introduced, including a university hub, research facilities, and improved transport infrastructure.
In 2008, the park featured a reception and office building located in the north-east area, with business units situated to the west. A central car park occupied the middle of the site. To the south, there was an IT centre and a separate cyber security building, surrounded by grassland and woodland. The area was served by roads and a railway line along the southern boundary, but there was no station at that time.
Today, notable transformations can be observed. The reception has been removed, and the office building has been expanded. A new research and development facility has been constructed in the north-west, alongside a university hub positioned centrally. The former IT centre has been replaced by an innovation centre, while the cyber security building has been relocated to the eastern side of the park and significantly enlarged. Transport facilities have also improved considerably. The car park remains in the centre but appears slightly restructured. Most importantly, a railway station has been added along the southern railway line, and additional paths and access routes have been developed, enhancing connectivity throughout the park.
