This illustration shows how tea is produced. The pictures also illustrate the process of making a cup of tea. This process consists of 18 stages. Ten of these stages describe the production of tea before it reaches the buyer
First, tea grows in India and China. The process begins when tea seeds are sown in the ground. After that, the plants grow with the help of sunshine. When the leaves are ready, workers pick them and put them into baskets. Then, the tea leaves are dried.
Next, the dried leaves are picked into boxes. These boxes are loaded onto a lorry and delivered to supermarkets or shops where customers can buy them. After that, customers take the tea home.
To make a cup of tea, water is boiled in a kettle. Then, a tea bag is placed in a cup and hot water is poured into it. The tea is left for about two minutes. Finally, milk or sugar can be added, and the tea is ready to drink.
