The bar chart represents responses of a group consisting 100 of girls, boys and adults in Manchester, England, when asked in which one of five sports: basketball, swimming, tennis, football and hockey, they have participated.
Overall, from their responses, it is clear that the swimming was the most popular sport among all groups. Football and basketball consisted of the least number of participants. Boys took the major participation in three out of five sports and vast majority of girls were participating in hockey, then in tennis and basketball. Tennis was enjoyed by all three groups equally.
In the most participated sport, which was swimming, girls and boys took part equally and adults did a bit less. Approximately 170 people in total. Next most was hockey, majority consisting of girls, then boys and very small number of adults, around 5 people. Tennis, was sport joined by girls, boys and adults identically.
In terms of football and basketball, the results were pretty alike. Basketball and football were mostly pleasured by boys. In basketball girls’ number was fellow to boys unlike football in which girls’ number where approximately 10 out of 100. Adults which took part, in both of sports, were minority
