The illustration describes the changes occured in a zone around Tumbledown from 1995 to 2010. Overall, the great amount of facilities have been expanded and gradually changed their purposes for absolutely new ones. Noticable transformations also include reduction of provided place for flora and wider focus on science related amenities.
In 1995, farmland was the largest on a Southern part of the map, even compared to the town’s scale. Just above the farmland, there was located farmhouse, standing connected to it. The wood section took its place on the edge of Eastern part of the map, symbolising light green coulour. Between the rural land and trees the Hospital could be found, following the river. The Northern zone was mostly used for park, where the bridge for crossing the river could be seen. Finally, to the right of the park, the school was placed, which had approximately the same size as farmhouse.
In 2010, the area around Tumbledown faced a great amount of alterations. The land, that was previously held by farm, was reused for science laborities without loosing it’s expansion. Tumbledown, in comparison, has got wider ever since, becoming as big as laboratories. Another noticable change is movement of the place used for woods down, additionally loosing most of its territory. In the opposite side of the river, shop was opened, located between Hotel and Spa and the river. Lastly, park was not led to a comprehensive alteration, but its goal transformed for scientific ideals, becoming both a science park and a museum.
