The UK university bachelor’s degree students from different faculties, who have ended their education in 2023 and then found a job or continued their studies within one year are shown on the chart. There are three kinds of graduates and their involvement in work and education.
Overall, there exist two types of emploited humans after graduation – full-time and part-time employment. Besides, there are some people, who decided to continue learning. It can be clearly seen on the bar chart, that most of the students have found a full-time job, while a part-time employment is not in the list in demand, whereas further study is a happy medium.
Sciences, Art and Humanities and Social Sciences illustrate approximately the same result, where a full further study is more common, than a part-time job (around 20-30 percent of continued education versus 30 percent and even 10 percent in a partial employment), however a full-time job has the biggest popularity. Engineering shows the gap between the other faculties and inside itself – the prevalent option is to get a full-time job within one year of completing a university, about 70 percent (that is the highest result of all the charts), whilst becoming a part-time worker is rarely found (only 10 percent, which is the lowest figure).
In summary, the largest number of UK students after a graduation in 2023 during the year have started to work full time, a few less decided to pursue further studies, meanwhile the smallest number of them have chosen a part-time employment.
