Some people think that mobile phones must be banned in public places such as libraries, shops, or public transport. While others don’t agree. I partly disagree with this point.
First of all, banning mobile phones can be beneficial, especially in libraries where people visit for reading books. For example, when libraries are peaceful and quiet, people focus better without distractions. People need quiet environments and silence in libraries. Loud conversations on the phone and notification sounds can disturb other people and productivity. Secondly. Using a phone in shops and public transport can sometimes be disrespectful and unsafe. For example, people who are disturbed by their phones may not pay attention to their surroundings, which can lead to accidents and unsafe situations for others.
On the other hand, completely using phones is not practical nowadays. Mobile phones are an essential part of our daily lives because they help people to access information and communicate with people. For instance, passengers on the transport may need phones for navigation, communicating with their families, and even work purposes. In addition, customers may use phones in shops to make digital payments. A total ban is not unnecessary difficulties. People use phones only without sound qualities and loud conversations.
In conclusion, although banning phones can be beneficial, mobile phones are essential for our daily life. While mobile phones can cause problems, banning is not a suitable solution. Instead, clear rules such as silence mode and avoiding loud conversations would be more effective and realistic than banning them.
