These pie charts shows the presence of how much household spending on goods and services in a two different countries, over 2 decades. Overall there are several changes over the decades between these 2 countries.
The highest spend UK in 1980 is leisures, about half in total, the second highest spend is utility bills which is 1% less than leisures. Followed by food and drinks at 23%, then transport about 15% spent in total. However, there are several changes over the decades. On 2008, total spent on leisure goes ups to 34%, also there are slight increase in utility bills about 2% higher than before. Different from the previous one, the spend on foodstuff drop into 13%. Meanwhile, transport number and the other stuff remain the same.
In the other hand, most of New zealand household has using their money on food and beverage which 29%, followed by utility bills which 27% and also the total spend on Leisures is 17%. Eventually, the percentage for each category has changed over time. Food and beverage consumption goes down to 25%, however the utility bills have risen to 31% which makes it the highest rate on 2008. In fact, the total amount on leasure spent didn’t change much since 1980.
