In the world today, hand writing is not really noticed anymore, written communication now is mostly done by typing rather than handwritten. some people believe good writting is no more important while some argue that good hand writting is still important now. this essay will discuss both views and include my opinion.
Some school of thought opines, that writting beautifully with an instrument like a pen does not really count anymore, due to the use of electronic devices like computer for typing and other type of devices that can also make writing faster, easier and also efficient for example, when using a computer system to type information it can correct errors by showing wrong spellings and assisting to correct them which helps to learn new things along the line and increase speed and also to explore more effects that will improve work professionally for example, if using microsoft word a spread sheet package to compose a writing.
Another group of people believe, that it is important to write manually due to the benefits that comes with it. It enables one to be able to structure sentences and write clearly and visibly which will enhance their knowledge. A survey took place at the university of portharcourt, in physics department the research showed that most people that like composing notes manually by hand retained more information than those that used their devices. this was because they worked a hundred percent by themselves and got no assistance from anything and it also reflected in their memory positively helping them work independently.
Furthermore, in my own opinion i think writing by hand or by typing are both useful and should be both done in moderation depending on the task given and the style an individual want to use both are impoortant and useful in their own unique ways.
