The graph shown below illustrates the dynamics of the percentage of money spent on advertising in France from 2010 and protected spending to 2040. It is separated into five sectors – television, newspaper, magazines, radio and internet.
According to the given data, we can conclude that the by 2040 the internet supposedly will have reached the highest rate dominating all the other spheres. It seems that, newspapers will be affected by this the most, while other spheres are going to lose a few percent as well.
Taking a closer look, it is noticable, that internet is going to skyrocket in the 30 years, rising for about 39% (from 3% to 47%). Television’s percentage also seems to increase between 2010 and 2020, however in the next 20 years it is going to gradually decrease back to 35 percent we began with.
Spends on newspapers, on the other hand, are going to drop down dramatically from 35% to 10%. Magazines’ rate will also decrise, though less significantly – by around 10%. Finally, Radio’s percantage is going to loose about 5%, with the stronger decline between 2010 and 2020.
