The line graph illustrates the sales of five different types of jam between 2009 and 2014.
Overall, it is clear that all figures showed a growth except plum. In addition, strawberry recorded the highest volume throughout the period, while grape depicted the least popular flavor in the initial year. However, plum recorded the lowest sales volume.
In 2009, strawberry stood at about 3 million units before surging dramatically to exactly 7 million units in 2014, which was significantly higher than that of other flavors. In contrast, raspberry rose rapidly to around 5.5 million units after starting at under 3 million units in 2009.
Meanwhile, grape increased gradually from approximately 0.5 million units to roughly 4.5 million units between 2009 and 2014, whilst plum plummeted from 2.5 million units in 2009 to zero by 2014, resulting in it becoming the least sold variety by the end of the period. Moreover, cherry fluctuated between 2 million units and 3.5 million units over the period.
