Dear Hiya,
I hope this letter finds you in radiant health and the best of spirits. I’m writing this letter to apologise you as I have mistakenly damaged your important book that I borrowed from you last week.
I’d like to say sorry since your neurological book has been broken by me. The book name is Neurological Rehabilitation by Sundar and Sulliwan and the addition is six. I borrowed it on Tuseday evening when we were returning from college.
Yesterday, while I was reading and drinking a cup of coffee, I lost my balance and split the coffee on the book. I tried to clean the pages, however the stains are still persistant. Owing to this, the readability of the topic related to stroke has reduced remarkably.
I was wondering if you could let me know about the shop, from where you purchased this book so that I will buy the new one. If not feasible, then I would like to reimburse the price of it. The reason is that I know it is extremely crucial for you as you are going to take competitive exam next month.
I believe that you will understand the situation and am waiting for your prompt response.
Best wishes,
Rumana.
