The picture demonstrates the process of making ceramics for the building industry.
Overall, the linear process consists of 8 main stages, beginning with mixing ceramic powder with water and ending with taking up the reel of dry tape.
First, ceramic powder is mixed with water by a special mixer. Next, the consistency becomes a slurry. Then, a binder and additives are added to the slurry. The next stage, called homogenizing, recycles the derived consistency. After that, liquid ceramic is pumped into a cylindrical machine. Next, it is transmitted to a slurry container. During this time, two types of tape are rolling parallel on a support table. One of them is the result of liquid ceramic (slurry). After the container, it becomes flexible tape. However, after the drying process, which evaporates the solvent, it becomes dry tape. In the next stage, the dry tape is peeled and taken up by a reel. Finally, the reels are transported for additional processing.
