The charts illustrate the attendance of cinema in Austria with average cinema visits of 4 distinct age groups from 1996 to 2000.
Overall, according to the duration attendance experienced growth of visitors, while frequency received marginal decline. Figures were marked by percentage mark. Second graph, which show the group age, received fluctuations and slightly increased comparing to the original numbers.Also age groups were experienced parallel changes for each of group.
Starting from 1996 the attendance proportion equalled to 62 percent and in 1997, figures increased for 10 percent and stayed same for 2 years.Experiencing decline for 2 percent on next year and returning to previous proportion in 2000. Average visits raised from 10.3 to 11.1 in 1997 and following next years the visits decreased for 8.2 in 1999. As attendance ratio in 2000, returned their numbers like it was in 1998, the frequency experienced same fluctuation equalling 8.3 visits as it was 2 years ago.
Second chart of cinema visits according to the age group was divided for four categories of age. All four categories figures were between 10 and 15 percent and each group had a difference of 1.25 percentage. first group – 14-24- equaled to 15 percent and after four years the figures experiencing gradual fluctuations with raise equaled 19 percent. According to that duration other three groups seasoned same fluctuations and each increased for four percent.
