Overall, at the beginning of the year two courses such as local history and music appreciation disappeared this year. Instead of these courses new IT course has opened and showed the highest proportion of the courses. Cookery course increased slightly, while art course and modern languages course fell dramatically. However, fitness and dance course remained stable.
In 1985, local history course was at around 15% and music appreciation recorded for 8%, making it the smallest rate. Art course was at about 17% and then dip slightly to 15% in the current year. Following this downward trend, modern languages course was at around 24%, then fell dramatically to 17% in this year.
By contrast, only cookery course showed the considerable change from 14% to 19%, while fitness and dance course was at about 22% and stayed unchanged in both following years. In this year, the new IT course showed the biggest increase at around 27%, respectively
