This is mainly because girls share the same problems and boys face similar difficulties, enabling students to be in a more collective environment than a co-educational school. Once they are surrounded by understanding classmates, their academic performance tends to improve. For instance, when girls have their period at school, they are more likely to tell that issue to the other girls not to boys who do not quite understand them. Consequently, students are more comfortable with same-gender classmates, and their grades will increase significantly
