In the digital technology era, the majority of individuals believe that advertisements are amazing or irritating and customers are not affected by advertising while shopping. I partially agree with this statement.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why advertisements do not impact consumers when they shop. Firstly, some consumers are not gullible and cannot be easily influenced by advertisements. For example, Americans often purchase modern goods, such as clothes , and shoes and sellers say to them these clothes are not only modern but also it is made from Turkey or other foreign countries and it is reliable, you can wear it for a long time, however they often lie to them. Therefore, they know thatt such advertisements are misleading and they frequently ignore them. Secondly, the majority of people do not like listening advertisements, because they are annoying and repetitive. Finally, they rely on reviews or personal experience rather than marketing messages.
On the other hand, advertising plays a crucial role in our daily basis and ads can persuade people to buy new products. For instance, marketing messages easly raise awareness about new products more effectively than sellers, since they can spread rapidly all over the world. Furthermore, repetition makes people remember products, it may help people save their time. Because if people see that product before going shopping, they will not need to search for it anymore.
In conclusion, although advertisements might affect consumers in some ways, the majority of people are not influenced , especially in shops and there are some reasons why they are not influenced, as I mentioned before.
