The table above shows information about the amount of production waste in six countries, and in three different years, 1980, 1990, and 2000.
Overall, the amount of industry wastes increased over time, while US was the highest country causing this wastes.
In the year 1980 US industries was behind a big part of the world industry waste, which recorded 131 million tonnes with a big gab we can find Jaspan and Korea with 28 million tonnes for both, followed by Poland with 4 million, and Portugal with 2 million tonnes, and finally Ireland with 0.6 million tonnes.
After ten years the quantity of wastes increased in all countries with different ratios; us mantain it’s place with a big gap from the other countries with 151 million tonnes. Japan and Korea’s wastes increased slightly to be 32 and 31 million tonnes respectively, while Ireland waste rose significantly, which jumped to 3 million tonnes.
Finally, the year 2000 shows that Korea wastes decreased sharply to 19 million tonnes, whole US remained with high level at 192 million tonnes. Japan’s industry wastes increased dramatically to 53 million tonnes while the rest of the countries presented slight increasing of industrial wastes in this time.
