The two pie charts illustrate the reason why people choose to shop online and in physical stores.
Overall, saving time was the common reason for shopping online,while the ability to touch products was the main reason for shopping in-store.In addition, saving delivery cost was the least significant factor for in-store shopping,whereas having greater variety of products was the least common reason for online purchases.
Regarding online shopping, saving time accounted for the largest proportion at 34%, and closely followed by avoid queues ,which represented by 31% of the total. Meanwhile, 24/7 shopping made up 21%, while having greater variety of products was the least cited reason, at 14%.
Turning to in-store shopping , the ability to touch items was the most important reason, comprising 40% of responses. The figure talking to a saleperson was slightly lower, at 35%. By contrast, a grater variety of products accounted for 17%, while saving delivery costs represented the smallest percentage, at just 8%.
