The main reasons behind this are low cost and convenience. As plastic is cheap to produce, most people prefer to use it, which is not make any problem when sell or buy it. Given these circumstances, it comes as no surprise that individuals like to use it at any time anywhere. Another contributing factor to this issue has to do with the desire to apply comfortable objects in people daily life. Since plastic is lightweight, durable and easy to transport. With plastic containers individuals do not face any type of problem when they carry food or liquids. As a result, nowadays people produce a large amount of plastic waste.
There are several solutions to tackle the problem of plastic. Firstly, it is important for government and individuals to focus on reducing single-use plastics. This can be accomplished by avoiding plastic bags, cups, and bottles. Unless plastic objects environment would be more clear and fresh. Secondly, government need to develop better plastic collection and recycling facilities to reduce plastic pollution. This can involve improve recycling systems in the country.
