Nowadays, environmental problems are one of the most discussed issues bothering many countries. This essay will evaluate the urgency of nature protection, as well as other relevant issues in today’s world.
Today, we face a number of problems in the field of environment, ranging from pollution to climate change, and even, in the long term, subsequent extinction of species. Climate change is by no means the only problem in nature today, as the scale of pollution is growing, whether it is air, water or land pollution. Without coordinated measures from national and global organizations, the environment may continue to deteriorate, leading to the point of no return in ecology. Reaching the point of no return means the time in the future, when issues escalate to the scale of human race not being able to fix nor change the situation, leading to a food shortage or even possible health care problems, due to a poor quality of air and water. |
Environmental problems are by no means the only challenge that humanity faces today. Among the other issues appears to be the question of economic crisis, by which I mean the inequality in distribution of resources among people. Nowadays, this problem results in only 1% of population holding 99% of wealth, which is negatively affecting on the qualities of life of remaining population. Since resources are concentrated in the hands of very few people, it may also cause the violation of power. Additionally, a number of underdeveloped countries and their citizens face the negative consequences of the current inequality for the reason that they provide the cheapest workforce for the wealthiest part of population, which does not benefit their economy, if, conversely, does not harm it.
To conclude, economic and environmental crises are the challenges that demand the global attention and urgent counteractions before escalation.
