In recent years, a large number of individuals all over the world became concerned about their well-being,where their place of living, whether it is a crowded and noisy city or a peaceful far-away countryside, plays a crucial role.Whereas living in the center of a megalopolis has its own benefits, otherwise,it has some reasonable drawbacks, that tied to person’s health as well as their fitness. This essay will dicuss both pros and cons of living in a large city and argue that its disadvantages outweight benefits in terms of welfare.
Nowadays, city life provides citizens with a wide selection of opportunities, for instance to improve their well-being.The main benefit is that in big cities there is always a variety of medical centeres and it’s obviously easier to make an appointment to a doctor,so in general, tracking person’s health is simple. Therefore, there is,as well, a wide range of various gyms where everyone can find their own unique way to keep fit by doing physical excercises, dancing, swimming and so on.
Despite that fact that this way of living attracts the vast majority of individuals by its comfort and accessibility to cure centres, there is a significant drawback of overpopulation. In general, that’s predictable to face with queues in gyms, traffic jams and inability to visit a doctor.Another crucial aspect is that waiting in these lines increases cortisol. This leads to serious problems with mental health and general well being as well. After all, each of these prons can be merely erased by the high stress level of the society.
In summary, after considering both sides of the argument,I would argue that although city lifestyle can be suitable and convenient, its disadvantages, including the high stress level and long queues practically kill every benefit, making them unreasonable.
