The graph illustrates unit sales of 5 different types of jams of one certain company between 2009 and 2014. Overall, most jams in question experienced an increase in their sales, albeit to varying degrees, but the reverse was true for plum jam. Although cherry jam witnessed the most pronounced growth in its sale, it was strawberry jam that recorded the highest figure and surpassed others.
Strawberry jam stood out among others with its significant increase in sales over the timeframe. Started at about 3 million, the figure followed by dramatic growth to 6 million, before levelling off for temporary. However, then the figure exhibited a slight increase to toughly 6,5 million in the final year, making it the best-sale jam. Similar increase observed in cherry jam sales. The figure started at 1 million, which witnessed constant and upward trend over the period, reaching roughly 4,2 million in the final year.
The remaining jams, such as raspberries and grapes, experienced a minimal increase in their sales. The former grew to 4 million from initial 3 million, being the second place in sales, whereas the latter increased from 3,5 million to 3,9 million in 2011, before declining slightly to 3,8 million in 2012 which rose noticeably to 5,2 million at the end of the period. Conversely, it was plum jam that exhibited a decrease in its sales. Started at about 2,6 million, the figure plummeted constantly until the end of the period with reaching approximately 100,000 and recording as the lowest level of sale among others.
