Nowadays, many residents tend to migrate from rural areas to cities with the aim for seeking a better life. However, living in the cities often brings difficulties and severe problems which need some suggestion for the government to tackle these problems.
At first, living in the urban zones require high-cost of living. In the city, people are demanded to pay for more self-services, such as housing and education cost than when they live in countryside. To illustrates this, housing in the metropolis usually cost twice or even more expensive because of the density of population. In fact, individuals need extra money to purchase house or rent a house in the cities. Furthermore, education is another difficulty which is considered by some who want to migrate in the metropolis. Due to capitalism and commercialism, schools in metropolitan compete each other. Hence, education in the cities require not only a good quality of human resources but also advanced technology in terms of school facilities. These aspects bring difficulties for people migrating from the suburban to the new place in the city and far from their hope to get better life.
There are several solutions that allow the governor to cope with these problems. Firstly, increasing new job opportunities in metropolis. This is simply because everyone need work’s opportunities equally for fulfilling their basic needs. Hence, they can survive and have fix incomes from their job, even though a high-cost living in the city. Secondly, government have to build education infrastructures. For instance, providing free schooling and scholarship for young generations. This solution is needed to create golden generations for encouraging higher education.
To conclude, while city living offers many facilities, it often comes with several difficulties. The high-cost living and cost of education can make city life difficult. Government can make urban life better for everyone by addressing these issues.
