Dear Mr Jonathan,

I am writing to request you to grant my leave to attend the family event in my hometown.

In my family, one of my sisters is getting married. I have to attend this wedding as the groom is my sibling, and I have to perform some rituals of it. The wedding is on 1st July 2026. I request you to let me take the time off of 1 week, from 26th June to 2nd July.

Firstly, this event is at the end of the semester. I have to leave early as I have to take part in some before wedding occassions. Once all the customs and traditionas done, then on very next day will be back to London. Secondly, I have completed all my thesis and assignments beforehand, and now the revision is pending.

Furthermore, I assure you this wont take long and will make sure that all the chapters and study materials will get revised before final exams. This leave will not affect my studies and health.
