It is often argued that children’s screen time has a significant impact on their behavior, while others think that what they watch is just as influential in shaping children’s behavior children. Although both factors are important, I believe that the television content has a stronger impact on their behavior.
In fact, spending much time to watch television has harmful effects, one of the most negative impacts on children is becoming socially isolated. Spending long hours watching television can reduce social interactions this means children spend less time with their family and friends, which can lead to not knowing how to interact with others in an appropriate way, and it also prevents children from gaining life experiences. As a result, they become less confidence, they do not want to communicate, make new friends, dream about the future.
On the other hand, television content has a stronger impact on children. This is because, if children see content without parental supervision, these programs contain violence, so it might cause to develop their unhealthy habits. that kinds of content encourage violent behavior because children also want to imitate what they watch and they do not know how bad it is. so, their behave towards others for example to their parents or older people they do not show respect, even though they think violent behavior is acceptable.
In conclusion, while the time children spend watching television has an impact on their behavior, I believe that the content they watch plays a more crucial role in shaping their behavior.
