It is commonly believed that colours have a huge influence on people’s mood and performance. In my view, this statement is largely true because colour can really affect people’s desire to work and play a role in their well-being.
One of the main reasons is that colour can imitate humans motivation and productivity. Softer and calmer colours such as blue and green display a more comfortable working space for workers and people who visit the offices for different purposes. For example, employees who spend more than 8 hours on persistent work in a day at the office may feel less stressed and exhausted in a relaxing environment. Consequently, this can enhance their abilities and desire to work more and have more improvement in developmental projects.
Equally important is the colour effect on the emotional state of the patients in the hospitals. People in healthcare centers, either patients, staff, or the public people are often worried and frightened by the hospital environment. Bright colours are oftenly create a vibrant atmosphere to breathe normally, rather than dark and aggressive colours where bacteria grow quickly, and people can suffer from new diseases. As a result, patients mentally receive the treatment well and recover sooner since they accept what is done to them.
In conclusion, I believe that colours have a significant influence on people’s feelings, mental health, and attitudes. Appropriate colours can create a pleasant workspace where everybody works energetically for long periods, while it lit environments in treatment centers so it helps patients recover more quickly.
