I absolutely don't think that governments should spend on Earth problems such as poverty and disease over prioritizing funding for space exploration. My way of thinking like this is only because we shouldn't put a halt on science exploration, because Earth will always be involved in various types of problems; it will never end. But if we stop exploring and expanding the science, we as human beings will die at some point. It is a universal thing that humans will die, but researching new things and especially researching space exploration should be at our top priority. Since Earth might collapse, we could also find another planet where we could live. So to sum it up, I think governments should prioritize funding for space exploration over solving problems.
