Well, I am a punctual person and I like to send or receive emails or messages on time. But there have been a few times when I had to wait longer than expected for a reply. So here I am going to talk about a time when I got a late reply from Amazon. I vividly remember that last year on New Year there was a huge discount on all the products on Amazon website. So I ordered a beautiful dress. When I received my product, there were a few holes in it. So that did not meet my expectations. I requested an exchange but they denied my request. Then I thought to write an email to Amazon. After sending an email, I was expecting a reply within two or three days but ten days passed. I was very worried and it was unexpected from a reputable company like Amazon and it was unprofessional behavior. So after that I sent them a follow-up email. Luckily they replied to that email including a policy letter and they also included the reason that they had a lot of emails due to their ongoing sale so that's why they could not reply to me within two or three days. Furthermore, they assisted me on a priority basis and solved my issue within 24 hours. So that experience taught me that sometimes delay occurs due to a genuine reason. So we should always keep patience before a follow-up.
