In detail, in 1900 the contribution of agriculture sector was 48%, the it slightly rose to 51% in 1950. After that there was a dramatic decrease by 40% in 1975. Similarly, in 2000 it further decreased to 5%.
In 1900 the contribution manufacturing was 45%, and it was higher at 5% then 1950. Likewise, in 1975 and 2000 the percentage was 43% and 19% respectively.
Finally, in 1900 the contribution business and financial sectors to the UK economy in the 20th century was 5%. However, in 1950 its proportion gradually increased to 10%. Similarly, in 1975 the percentage further rose to 20%, which was 19 smaller then the proportion of 2000.
