Many individuals arguing about teaching coding in schools that can be beneficial for students, while others believe that it will disturb learners from other subjects like arts and humanities, stifling creativity. Personally, I believe that teaching coding advantages far outweight critical subjects.
On the one hand, new machines are getting enjoyed by many people in modern world and adding new subjects that have connection with technology can be crucial for students who are focusing on IT career. Meanwhile for others who do not know much about digital tools it may be frustrating at first, but after a short period of time they can find out something new that they would really enjoy to do and maybe it will have a huge impact in their future job especially when coding becoming more and more demanding for many popular businesses.
On the other hand, the growing focus on coding in modern education poses a risk of marginalizing vital humanities and creative subjects, such as art. It can have huge affect on people’s lifestyle. Nowadays many people have lack of their own opinion, because people usually rely on machines such as artificial inteligence. With adding more logistical technology people become less confident and espeially students will be addicted with using new machines.
In conclusion, while adding subjects that is related to IT such as coding can have crucial affect on students, its advantages such as technology skills and better career opportunities in the future far outweight negative affect of coding in modern life.
