At present, it is often said that regular people have no opportunities to make the environment better, while governments and the big guns are able to do that. In my view, I am sure that every person should both be ecologically conscious and responsible for the natural conditions that we live in and be able to enhance them.
Firstly, every person can make a contribution to the improvement of the environment by reducing their own pollution footprint. For example, it is possible to change a petrol car on an electric one or even on a bicycle, as many Kaliningrad citizens have already done. Therefore, the number of the vehicles producing air emissions may be lessened and the natural oxygen may become cleaner and healthier to breath.
In addition, social groups can organize various volunteering events connected with ecology and environment, not only such as cleaning up the space around a living district or planting seeds in the park, but also the promotional ones to boost social ecological consciousness. For instance, setting up local concerts or festivals in order to promote the idea of supporting the environment.
To conclude, I am absolutely sure that there is no need to be a member of a socially powerful entity to aid the Planet. Above everything, every person is able to control their own actions and, therefore, boost the environmental conditions, especially, it might be done with the change of the type of private vehicles on ecologically-friendly ones. In addition, it is also possible to propagate the idea of saving the environment by volunteering actions.
