There are some points explaining why tourists are excited to visit vintage and tradition destinations more frequently than the locals . Firstly, visitors who come from abroad are passionate on exploring new knowledge of history and traditional culture from different places. By contrast, locals are quite familiar to these things as they can read and discover it everyday throughout school and social medias which lead to a lack interest of visiting these place. To resolve this phenomenon, the government have to implement large number of promotion campaign to raise awareness among the local inhabitant especially the young generation about the important of enhance knowledge about their own country history and cultures.

The second factor is that the locals like to spend most of their time on activity which are more excited and familiar to their daily lives. They prefer events and entertainment that match their current interests. For example, the teenagers nowadays will choose to join a party at bar or club instead of visiting museum in the weekends. To prevent this circumstance, the school and university need to introduce more extracurricular activities to encourage the young generation to pay more attention to the historical and traditional sites.

In short, tourists are more interested in museums and historical sites than locals because of the new experience, limited time, and preference for modern activities. To attract locals, it’s important to create educational programs, hold events that connect history with today, and use technology to promote these sites.
