More than a few people consider that professional like doctors and engineers needed to engage in duties in the country where they did their schooling while another set of people consider, they can work anywhere in the world as they like. In my opinion, they should be free to work anywhere they like.
Professionals like doctors and engineers are the foundation of the country’s health and development respectively. If they got the education from the specific country , they have a responsibility to serve that country first because if all the professional like them leave the country who will serve the patients and build the roads, buildings. They should be serve the people of the country. As an example, if most of doctors leave the country who will treat the patients in rural areas. There will be huge health brain drain in the country which will led the sudden increase in the death rate. There will be huge loss to the students who expected to become doctors and engineers without proper guidance from experience doctors. That is why professionals should be required to work in the country where they did their training.
In other opinion, it says they need to be free to work in anywhere as they wish. For instance, doctors need to be specialized in certain areas when they learn. Therefore, they need more expertise knowledge and practical experience from well known doctors in other countries. With the opportunity to work in anywhere, they can become more experienced doctor in the future. In addition, professionals should not be framed to one placed. That is why they believe professionals should be free to work anywhere as they wish.
In my view, I think professionals need to work certain fixed period in the country they got training and set them free to work after that period end. I firmly believe poor countries or developing countries need assistance from these people as well as they need to be well experienced time goes. However, most of poor or developing countries do not offer such facilities to learn. In summary, we need to have balanced opinion on both statements.
