Opinions are divided on whether advertising is effective at appealing to more consumers or if it’s universal that we have less concentration. This essay will first closely discuss both viewpoints before concluding that I agree with the latter.
On the one hand, it is understandable why some people propose that advertising can successfully foster the buying rate. This is because the companies propose an advertising strategy to reach their target audiences and popularize the company. For instance, celebrity endorsements, discounts, undercover advertising, etc., are some of the most famous strategies that can be used to attract shoppers. For example, lots of apps, such as Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, and Canva Pro, are always on sale on special days.
On the other hand, I side with the belief that online advertising is being ignored, although it is widespread. The primary reason for which is leading to this is too many ads are popping up. So, lots of businesses create ad blockers for people to install to prevent them from interrupting ads. Furthermore, some apps that have advertisements launch premium to block commercials and upgrade the experience for users. Thus, marketing strategies become fail.
To sum up, even though adverts succeed in attracting consumers, I believe that it angers people.
