The bar graph depicts the number of films screened in UK and Australia in the year 2001, whereas the line chart shows the number of acceptance taken in the field of cinema in between the years 1976 and 2006.
Overall, it can be observed from the bar chart that US and UK films were quite popular than Australian films in 2001. Also, the rate of admissions into film has fairly increased from 1976 to 2006 in both the countries. on the contrary UK had higher rate of admissions since 1976.
Firstly, US Films were the highest to be screened both in Australia and UK which was approximately 65% and 75% respectively. UK’s films are at the second position with 5% and 20% films watched in Australia and UK. Next is Australian films which are relatively extremely low in Australia and UK screened around 11% of the films. On the contradictory in Australia there was a rise in number of other countries films played than in UK.
Secondly, The line chart shows Australia and UK had a significant improvement in cinema entrance from 30 to 80 students in a million in Australia and 100 to 155 in UK. It can be clearly seen that there was a surge in the entrance into film in between the years 1980 to 1985. Later Australia maintained a steady increase in acceptance unlike in UK had few changes intermittently.
