The bar graph shows the data for children who use different modes of transportation to travel to and from school in the years 1990 and 2010.

Overall the bar graph shows a drastic increase in the in the children who are car passengers. The graph also shows significant reductions in the other modes of transport. The number of car passengers has increased from a mere 4.4 million to almost 11 million, While the number of children walking has halfed approximately.

The number of children cycling has also had a heavy decline almost becoming one third its intial level.the number of children who walk and also use the bus has also decreased. However the number of children who only use the bus have not have a quite large decrement but it has also decreased between the years 1990 and 2010.

The number of children who walked to and from school in and the number of children who cycle are approximately the same in 2010.
