Dear Manager,

I am writing to inform you that I am doing a marketing course, and I need some leaves from work to complete it.

It is a weekend course, and the duration of this course is 8 weeks.I need off from duty for a week for preparation because my exam is on next friday in the morning.

I will give extra time on duty for two weeks, if you give me a week off for completing my qualification. It will not solely boost my career, but also it help me to do work more efficiently for your company.

As you know that at present, marketing is crucial for any business. Therefore, after completing this certification, I will able to promote your company to million of people through marketing. So, I will be thankful to you if you grant me a week leave from work as it will be beneficial for me as well as for the company.
