In the last few decades, the world has been evolving rapidly and so have the perspectives amongst younger generation. While the representatives of older generation believe that teenagers must obtain the same viewpoint as they do. Others are not advocates of this approach. This essay will analyze both perspectives and offer a personal opinion.
It is ubiquitously argued that children should adhere to the principles of their parents, due to the fact that they have an enriched life experience and have already witnessed many black and sorrowful events. Hence, by forcing teenagers to adopt the same ethics of life they try to prevent them from making a irredeemable mistakes. Kazakhstan is a notable example of this tendency, parents convince their offsprings to settle down sooner, notwithstanding the fact that they are not ready for being married yet. This is because many of them had experience loss of children and wish the best for them. Hence, it can be inferred that it is beneficial and worthwhile to listen to older generation.
On the other hand, it is in juveniles’ nature to challenge their current living ethics and apply completely distinctive approach towards life. Most of them have explorative nature and wants to live a life full of adrenaline, adventure and mainly do not wish to be imposed by standards. It has been observed that instead of applying to regular jobs, many of them are content creators and generate their income through social media. Furthermore, for teenagers higher education stopped playing an integral part of their life and instead became a choice.
In conclusion, in my viewpoint even though older generation is full of enriched life experience juveniles should make their own decisions based on their internal feelings and plans. The fast pace of the world requires distinctive approach and open-minded individuals, who are open to new tendencies.
